The Challenge
Orders came in from Shopify, HubSpot deals, and CSV uploads. Ops staff manually validated addresses, checked inventory in QuickBooks, generated labels in ShipStation, and emailed exceptions back to sales. Average order-to-ship time was 11 hours, with a backlog every Monday morning.
What We Built
Built an autonomous AI agent that ingests every new order in real time and runs a validation chain across address, SKU availability, and customer credit.
Connected HubSpot, ShipStation, and QuickBooks via their APIs so the agent can create shipments, update deal stages, and post invoices without human input.
Added a human-in-the-loop escalation channel in Slack for the small percentage of orders the agent is not confident about.
Set up monitoring dashboards so ops leadership can see throughput, exceptions, and savings in real time.
